You need to conclude a contract and to fill in an application form (appendix to a contract) for cargo shipment in a container.
Container railroad transportation within Russia is carried out by our specialists, who will help to choose a type of container for your cargo. Shipments of cargos in containers are possible both with any type of rail container provided by us, and your container, provided that it is a standard one. Cost of container railroad transportation, which depends on a type of cargo, is calculated by experienced specialists, and it is not changed for sure without the consent of the parties.
Please be aware that OOO «Sputnik SPb» does not work with individuals on shipment of personal belongings, so our company does not accept cash payment.
After confirmation of an application, a vehicle will be driven up with the necessary container at the time and place specified by you. The forwarding driver will have a locking and sealing device which he will use to seal the container in the presence of your representative after loading. Container transportation in Saint Petersburg (St. Petersburg) is carried out from Saint Petersburg-Tov.-Vitebsky railway station.
Please be aware that loading must comply with requirements of «Russian Railways». If it is required, OOO «Sputnik SPb» can assume all risks of loading and fastening cargo, if loading and fastening cargo in rail container will be carried out by our specialists. Fastening cargo in rail containers is carried out according to «Rules for cargo transportation by railway transport in general-purpose containers», where for a start the scheme of placement and fastening cargo in a container is developed.

Upon arrival of cargo at the station of destination, employees of «Russian Railways» notify the consignee indicated in the receipt that container railroad transportation of cargos is completed successfully. Upon door-to-door container shipment to the consignee, we engage partners for its receipt and removal at the railway station of destination. Then the consignee indicated in the receipt is our partner. It is they who agree upon receipt of cargo by your consignee at the warehouse.
